This holiday.. is like it never happened before.

Now that my schedule is shown;

Monday to Friday
8.30am - 6.30pm

Its so crazy. I won't have time for Wei Qi on Tuesday anymore.

I don't have much to blog about, unless you want to hear me talking about Wei Qi again. I think I'll leave it at here for now.

Till the school starts when there are more juicy news to write about.

Till then, ta~

On April 1st, yesterday, I went to play Wei Qi at Hougang, Ci Yuan Community Centre.

I got to know this place from an NYP Mind Sports Alumni James Lee. Apparently he was the president of the club 6 years ago.

When I entered the community centre, it wasn't a centre at all, just a few small classrooms. But who cares, nothing matters as long as there is a go board and seeds right?

3.00pm : Played a few games of 13 x 13 while waiting for the beginner course to end. ( Beginner = do not know what Wei Qi is at all )
4.30pm : Time flew. It was time for the next course.
5.00pm : Start of beginner session 2.. ( wtf? )
6.30pm : It was quite fun ( the coaches made it fun ), although all that they taught I have already learnt.
7.00pm : Practise session with James, which he simultaneously played 9 people on 13 x 13. I lost of course.
9.00pm : We went for dinner and chatted.

This was when I got really juicy info. Just a year ago, James was aggressively promoting Wei Qi to every school in Singapore. Now, almost every primary school already wants a Wei Qi club. Unthinkable as during my time, there wasn't even a mention of Wei Qi.

And from what I heard, its even crazier in polytechnics. Other than NYP, other polytechnics are going to be conducting a Wei Qi crash course soon around June. That means the number of Wei Qi players are going to shoot up again in Singapore.

Before I went home, James said that I could become a coach but I needed a little more strength in Wei Qi, which other courses could help me attain.

Long term goal : To become a coach.
Short term goal : Increase strength.

If you have any enquiries about the courses, do contact James Lee.

To infinity! And beyond!

theory

Life isn't about being stuck. Life is about change. One thing you do affects the other. Appreciate the beauty of it. The domino effect, chaos theory. What you do, say, type and act out counts.

A blog is for you to express yourself. Use it wisely. It may be your best weapon, it may be your only friend. It may be, your life.

Chaos Theory precedes.
